OkSoberfest, Germany’s largest alcohol-free festival, kicks off at the Kulturbrauerei Berlin

Marc Terenzi and DJ Tomekk are the musical headliners. Berlin’s first alcohol-free beer garden is making its debut as a pop-up. Two days of live music, fitness, family activities, and inspiring talks. As part of Berlin Food Week, the Kesselhaus and Maschinenhaus will become Berlin’s largest alcohol-free “Späti.”

Berlin, July 29, 2026 – With OkSoberfest, Berlin is celebrating the premiere of a new festival format. On October 10 and 11, 2026, the Kulturbrauerei in Prenzlauer Berg will transform into a gathering place for anyone who wants to discover non-alcoholic beverage trends in a relaxed festival atmosphere. The two-day event combines live music, fitness, family activities, engaging talks, and hands-on workshops with a diverse selection of non-alcoholic beers, spirits, and trendy drinks—and demonstrates that lively celebrations are possible even without alcohol.

“As someone who has been living clean and sober since 2013, I’m especially excited to celebrate my 51st birthday on October 11, 2026, as part of the OkSoberfest—an event that shows that enjoyment, community, and a zest for life work just fine without alcohol. The concept behind Germany’s first alcohol-free beer festival sends an important message about a modern, health-conscious lifestyle and brings together people who want to celebrate mindfully. “As a music producer, coach, and businessman, I know from personal experience: If you want to perform at your best over the long term, you need a clear head, discipline, and good health. That’s exactly why I support this movement with complete conviction,” says Tomasz Kuklicz (DJ Tomekk).

Singer Marc Terenzi, who has been living alcohol-free for two years, is also looking forward to his performance: “I’ve spent a lot of time at Oktoberfest in Munich and have performed in the Käfer tent. Now I’m looking forward to the OkSoberfest even more. It shows that the true spirit of celebration isn’t about alcohol, but about coming together, celebrating life, and creating unforgettable memories.”

Other program highlights include Sebastian Klussmann, known as “Besserwisser” from the ARD quiz show Gefragt – Gejagt, with an alcohol-free pub quiz, bestselling author Michael Nast with a talk on the topic of “Sober Dating,” and Stumpen from the Berlin cult band Knorkator, who will be on stage with his daughter.

In addition to the stage program, visitors can look forward to a variety of hands-on activities for all age groups. These include mini-table tennis, Beer Pong 0.0, darts, e-sports gaming, yoga, fitness, and the trending sport of padel, which can be tried out using a ball trainer.

Organizer Alexander van Hessen explains: “The OkSoberfest is not meant to be a lecture on alcohol, nor is it a plea to abstain. Rather, we want to usher in a new era of festivals, bring people of all generations together, and celebrate as one—just without intoxicants and without hangovers.”

Tickets are currently available during the early-bird presale starting at 8.50 euros (later 12 euros). The two-day ticket costs 14.99 euros. The ticket price includes one free non-alcoholic beer.
