Tophouse is in Berlin for the first time!
The American indie-folk band Tophouse enchants audiences with its blend of high-energy folk and sophisticated Americana, spiced with Celtic charm. Tophouse has built up a fan base ranging from parking garages to sold-out venues—thanks to explosive live shows and a captivating stage presence. Their harmonies, combined with banjo and fiddle, are reminiscent of Mumford & Sons or The Dead South.
Tophouse consists of Larson (lead vocals, guitar, banjo), Jesse Davis (guitar, mandolin, percussion, vocals), William Cook (violin, vocals), and Andy LaFave (piano, vocals), and was founded in 2016 in Missoula, Montana.
On their tour, they’ll be joined by the British-American trio Raynes. The band came together when Mat Charley and Joe Berger—both born and raised in North Dakota—stumbled upon a video of Mark Race, who’s from the UK, on Instagram and fell in love—first with his face, then with his voice. After a few messages and phone calls, Mark was already on a plane headed for the U.S. to start a band (a few months later, he had the flight number tattooed on his arm).
Since then, Raynes has signed a deal with Sony Music Publishing and released six singles and four EPs. In 2025, Raynes’ rendition of “I Want You to Want Me” was featured in an episode of “Love Is Blind” on Netflix. Known for their complex vocal harmonies, unique instrumentation, and poetic lyrics, Raynes haven’t yet found a definitive answer as to which genre their music belongs to. They blend elements of folk, rock, and chamber pop with Celtic and world music to create a completely original—and hard-to-categorize—sound.
"With an indie-folk sound reminiscent of early Mumford & Sons, paired with the picturesque singer-songwriter atmosphere of Noah Kahan and a sophisticated musicality akin to The Lumineers, TopHouse continues to be at the top of their game… The music itself shows that TopHouse have finally made their mark.” Adam Grundy - chorus.fm
"TopHouse’s live performances are incredibly energetic and personal—so personal that you almost feel like you’re hanging out with four friends at a jam session." Brooke Billick - Americana Highways
