Joshua Radin emerged in 2004 as a sensitive, approachable, and captivating singer-songwriter. Over the course of his career, he has amassed more than one billion streams, sold over one million albums worldwide, and received a gold certification for his single “I’d Rather Be With You.” His music has been featured in more than 200 films, TV series, and commercials.
In addition to several memorable appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show—Ellen even booked him to perform at her wedding—and The Today Show, he has been a guest on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!, and Conan, among others. At the request of former First Ladies Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden, he contributed his song “Brand New Day” to a commercial in support of U.S. service members.
Joshua Radin has performed to sold-out audiences worldwide and shared the stage with artists such as Ed Sheeran, Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, Sheryl Crow, and Tori Amos. In addition, he is committed to charitable causes and supports organizations such as Little Kids Rock and North Shore Animal League America (NSALA).
By that point, his discography included nine studio albums, among them the releases particularly beloved by his fans: We Were Here, Simple Times, Underwater, Wax Wings, and Here, Right Now.
Following the release of his critically acclaimed album The Ghost and The Wall in 2021, Joshua Radin left his previous, materialistic life behind. With a backpack, his guitar, and a pen and notepad, he set out to discover and tell new stories. These experiences gave rise to the two parts of though the world will tell me so, which were released in early 2023.
In 2025, Joshua Radin opened a new chapter in his career and his life with his tenth studio album, One Day Home. It was also his first independently released album since 2017. He devoted his full attention to the creation of the 13 songs and worked intensively on every musical detail. He produced six of the tracks together with Wally Gagel.
For the release, he opted for a double-LP format: one half contains the original studio recordings, while the other features stripped-down versions of the songs with piano and vocals.
Musically, on One Day Home, Joshua Radin brings together two sides of his artistry: soul influences meet his signature singer-songwriter style. Lyrically, the album traces the development of a romantic relationship.
