Muireann Bradley is a once-in-a-generation talent—
the kind that comes along only once in a generation. The 19-year-old Irish guitarist and singer captivates audiences worldwide with her sophisticated fingerstyle playing and her interpretations of classic blues pieces, infusing a centuries-old tradition with remarkable warmth, clarity, and emotional depth.
In March 2027, Muireann Bradley will come to Germany with her Blackwood Pew EP and the tour of the same name.
Raised in County Donegal, Ireland, Muireann Bradley began playing guitar at the age of nine, inspired by her blues-loving father, and developed her skills largely by ear, immersing herself in the music of pioneers such as Blind Blake, Mississippi John Hurt, and Memphis Minnie.
Her acclaimed debut album, I Kept These Old Blues, which she recorded at just 14 years old, became a coveted collector’s item, with its first pressing selling out everywhere. Since then, Bradley has taken her captivating performances from YouTube to sold-out headline shows on both sides of the Atlantic and earned the recognition of industry legends such as Jools Holland, who invited her to perform on “The Hootenanny.”
With her EP “Blackwood Pew,” Muireann Bradley is now opening an exciting new chapter and stepping into the spotlight as a singer-songwriter in her own right. By blending her own compositions with fresh interpretations of the music that has shaped her, she draws from a life steeped in blues, ragtime, country, and Irish folk to explore new sounds and tell her very own stories. Still
deeply rooted in the traditions she loves, Bradley is beginning to forge a musical identity that feels entirely her own.
