Egyptian Hip-Hop Star Heads Out on First European Tour with a Live Band
On October 29, 2026, Wegz—one of the most influential artists on the contemporary Egyptian music scene—will perform at Berlin’s Kesselhaus. For the first time, the rapper is touring Europe with a full live band, presenting his songs in a completely new musical style.
Hailing from Alexandria, Wegz is one of the defining voices of a new generation of Arab music. With his unmistakable blend of hip-hop, trap, and Egyptian musical influences, as well as his distinctive sound and personal lyrics, he has built a massive fan base far beyond the Arab world.
His music transcends linguistic and cultural boundaries and strikes a chord with a generation that sees itself reflected in his stories, his energy, and his sound. In doing so, Wegz has played a key role in bringing Egyptian and Arab hip-hop to international attention.
With his first European live band tour, Wegz is now opening a new chapter. Together with his band, he reinterprets his well-known tracks in a custom-designed live setup. Organic instrumentation meets urban beats, opening up a new sonic dimension to his music.
On October 29, the Wegz Live Band Tour 2026 will make a stop at the Kesselhaus at Berlin’s Kulturbrauerei—a special concert experience blending contemporary Arab hip-hop, trap, and a powerful live sound.
