The “Poetry Meets” event series, initiated by curator and artist Jumoke Adeyanju, is an international, multilingual community event that showcases poetry, music, dance, film, and talented poets from Berlin and around the world.
After Poetry Meets brought the band “The Cavemen” from Nigeria to Germany for their very first performance in 2024, the organization is now delighted to welcome them back.
Their debut performance was a special milestone, during which German audiences were introduced for the first time to “The Cavemen’s” unique blend of contemporary highlife music. The event was a huge success and an unforgettable celebration of their sound, which has now led to their return for another special performance.
