The Pop-Kultur Festival returns in 2026 with an expanded program and will take over the city for a full week for the first time. Starting on August 24 in Wedding, the festival will make its way through Kreuzberg to Prenzlauer Berg and conclude with a newly conceived surprise event on August 30.
Following the success of last year’s decentralized events, the festival will once again feature a variety of venues and formats in 2026. On August 28 and 29, the Kulturbrauerei grounds will serve as the festival hub. The program features events at various locations on the grounds, including the Kesselhaus and the Maschinenhaus.
The Pop-Kultur Festival also remains a platform for new voices: Jassin, hailing from Saxony-Anhalt, brings clear lyrics to foggy cloud rap that navigates between personal turmoil and contemporary social issues to Berlin.
Layla Boe, who moves between R&B, electro, and rap, is also among the first confirmed acts.
Among other things, she contributed to the acclaimed remix of Nina Chuba’s “Rage Girl,” which was named Best Song in the Pop category at the 2026 POLYTON Music Awards.
