With his cloud rap sound on tracks such as “Blow Me” and “Music and Me”, as well as collaborations on songs like Buckshot’s “Fever” and EsDeeKids’ “LV Sandals”, fakemink has quickly become a notable name within the London underground hip-hop scene. By the time his single “Easter Pink”, released in 2025, went viral, he had made the leap out of the scene and sparked a huge online buzz around him and his music. Pitchfork confirmed in 2025 that the rapper deserved this hype in the category The Pitch. His upcoming tour of Europe demonstrates that he has long since made his mark on the international stage with his music. On the 51 TTashpel Pony Ave Tour, fakemink will be heading to Berlin, Hamburg and Cologne in June. Vincenzo Camille began his musical career under the stage name 9090gate. In 2023, however, he released his debut album “London’s Saviour” under his new alias: fakemink. A name that continues to cause a stir in 2024. Within that year, he released a total of more than 50 singles, demonstrating his unflagging creativity and productivity. In 2025, fakemink’s single “Easter Pink” went viral and was described by Pitchfork as “bloghouse meets cloud rap”. This was followed by a performance at the Wireless Festival in London, where Drake brought the rapper on stage as a surprise guest. In 2026, fakemink’s new album “Terrified” is set to be released. The EP “The Boy Who Cried” serves as a little taster.
