Óperentzia, one of the most influential Hungarian projects in the psychedelic downtempo scene, is coming to Berlin for the first time. For almost 20 years, Gábor Bánházi (drums, electronics) and Tibor Domokos (synths, keys) have been shaping a sound that weaves electronic depth, analog warmth and mythical folklore into a dazzling overall experience. Their concerts function like musical narratives: atmospherically rolling, organically growing, finally exploding in trance-like climaxes.
Between tribalistic beats, live percussion, hypnotic synth lines and archaic vocal fragments, a sound space is created that is simultaneously grounding and boundless - and captivates both electronic music fans and world music listeners. In Hungary, Óperentzia are regarded as an exceptional live formation that regularly plays headlining shows in renowned Budapest venues.
With their first Berlin show, Óperentzia are now building a direct bridge to the capital, whose electronic music culture has been a natural resonance chamber for the duo's sound for years.<br><br>
