Originally founded in 2007 by Irish frontman Robby Thomas Walsh as a tribute to Deep Purple, Purpendicular has evolved into a powerhouse of original music and has been redefining its identity since 2019.
The band is no longer just a tribute act, but a creative force in its own right with an all-star line-up of musicians who have shaped the rock and funk scene and have been touring Europe extensively since 2007.
Purpendicular boasts an impressive roster, including Nick Fyffe, former bassist for Jamiroquai, and Murray Gould, a seasoned guitarist who has performed with legends such as Eric Clapton, Joe Bonamassa and Elton John.
At the heart of the band's rhythm section is none other than Ian Paice, the legendary drummer from Deep Purple, who brings his unmistakable groove and energy to the group.
With three original albums already under their belt, Purpendicular are about to release their fourth studio album, marking another milestone on their journey.
The band will be touring Europe in support of the album, bringing their electrifying performances to audiences across the continent.
Purpendicular continues to push boundaries, blending classic rock influences with fresh, dynamic compositions.
Their commitment to musical excellence and innovation ensures that their legacy endures - not as a tribute, but as a band that stands on its own creative foundation.
The show will consist of past classics from Deep Purple and Whitesnake and will also include tracks from the band's new album.
