British pop newcomer with debut album "mood swings" in Germany in early 2026
Henry Moodie has turned his own vulnerability into his most powerful weapon. Over 9 million people already follow the singer from Guildford, England, on social media, which he completely conquered in 2023 with his second single "drunk text". On Spotify alone, the track from his record "in all of my lonely nights" has over half a billion streams, while the EP tracks "you were there for me" and "pick up the phone" have also benefited from the hype. The reason: Henry Moodie knows how to write modern love ballads and how to package his own experiences and feelings in them. This may be due to the fact that his mother (who works as a psychotherapist) taught him early on to channel his own feelings and found a vehicle for this in music. The fact that the 21-year-old touches and inspires his own generation in equal measure is also due to the approachability and intimacy of his lyrics, which he captures deftly and unfiltered in authentic bedroom pop. In September 2025, Henry Moodie toured Europe and the UK in support of Lauren Spencer Smith. Music has accompanied Henry Moodie since he was eleven years old. On his mother's advice to find an outlet for his emotional processing, he began learning the guitar. The boy from Guildford soon realized that he saw a purpose in music and took part in his first songwriting sessions in London. At 16, he left school to play in a band and take a songwriting course. He posted cover versions of well-known songs on TikTok and quickly built up an international audience. He soon started writing his own songs, which he released from 2022. His debut single "you were there for me" reached the top 50 of the UK Single Download Charts straight away. His second single "drunk text" went viral on TikTok in 2023 and made him famous worldwide. The subsequent release of further singles and his EP "in all of my lonely nights" (2024) established him as a major newcomer on the British pop scene. A status that he further consolidated with the EP "good old days" and his first headline tours in 2024. With his 14-track debut album "mood swings", Henry Moodie will take the biggest step in his career to date in October 2025. On his way to the top, The Mood Swings Tour will take the Brit to Hamburg's Mojo Club, Berlin's Kesselhaus and Cologne's Live Music Hall in spring 2026.
