The Firelight Trio is a great new group made up of fiddle player Gavin Marwick, groovy accordionist/pianist Phil Alexander (Moishe's Bagel) and Ruth Morris (Outlander, HBO) on the beautiful Swedish nyckelharpa. They play European music that is atmospheric, inventive, versatile and endlessly exciting - a rich tapestry of lively Swedish polkas and Scottish reels, lilting French waltzes, rousing klezmer and stunning original tunes. "A true super group of roots music" (RnR Magazine). Highly expressive, impressively virtuosic and cheeky.
