With profound lyrics, striking melodies and a mix of country and folk rock, Canadian singer-songwriter CAMERON WHITCOMB has captured the hearts of millions. Known for songs such as "Quitter" and "Medusa", his music reflects personal experiences and challenges. He is followed by over 1.4 million fans on TikTok and has more than 6 million monthly listeners on Spotify - a testament to the enthusiasm generated by his captivating songs and impressive live performances. Following the sensational success of his debut EP and sold-out shows across North America, CAMERON WHITCOMB is coming to Germany for the first time for two exclusive concerts as part of his "Hundred Mile High Tour"! With his charismatic voice that touches people worldwide with its raw honesty and emotional depth, he will be bringing his moving stories and powerful melodies live to Munich on August 23 and Berlin on August 24.
CAMERON WHITCOMB hails from Nanaimo, British Columbia. He left home at the age of 17 and worked six days a week, twelve hours a day, on the Trans Mountain oil pipeline. To distract himself from the monotony of the long working days, he started posting videos on Reddit. His extraordinary talent did not go unnoticed for long: one video caught the attention of an American Idol executive and opened the door to the music world for him. As a contestant on season 20, he wowed audiences and made it into the top 20. Although his regular video releases brought him many followers, the real turning point in his career came when he faced up to his personal struggles and addiction problem. Although his songs are on playlists alongside artists like Zach Bryan and Noah Kahan, his music is surprisingly more influenced by Canadian West Coast rap than the traditional country or folk sounds he discovered later. Through his music, he provides a profound insight into the complexities of his life and the darker side of the human experience.
His debut EP "Quitter" was released in 2024 and immediately attracted a lot of attention. Within a very short space of time, the work generated millions of streams and rave reviews. Billboard described the single of the same name as "an anthemic folk number in the style of Noah Kahan". The song earned him his first placement in the Billboard Canadian Hot 100. In November 2024, he released the deeply personal single "Medusa", followed by the critically acclaimed "Hundred Mile High" at the end of January 2025. Shortly afterwards, he released his latest single, "Options", which speaks openly about his struggle with addiction and the path to abstinence.
With these releases, he is setting new standards and showing once again why he is one of the most exciting country artists of his generation. This has not gone unnoticed: he was recently included in Amazon's Artists To Watch 2025 and Spotify's Fast Forward Artists 2025. He continued the success of the EP with his "The Quitter Tour", wowing sold-out concert halls across North America.
In August, CAMERON WHITCOMB will bring his captivating energy and authentic songs live to Germany. At the concerts, the audience can expect a wave of emotions and powerful sounds - an unforgettable experience that gets under your skin.
