Born in Schleswig in the early nineties as a child of the north, he came into contact with church music at an early age - and with its uplifting power - but also with the strictness and discipline that religious systems demand of young people. But from an early age it is always there, the constant in JONA's story full of ups and downs: his music.
In JONA's youth, the rebellion: he parties, drinks, continues to write, lets himself go, first loses his footing, then his friends, poisons his soul with toxic relationships, falls into a dark hole, but finds stability again - through therapy, through his music, through his faith, in God and in himself. JONA writes songs in English and German, for himself and others, goes platinum as a songwriter with "Home" by Topic & Nico Santos in 2015, works with Culcha Candela, SDP, VIZE, Topic, Fast Boy et cetera, but realizes that dance-pop doesn't fulfill him, then concentrates on his own music.
JONA is now firmly established in life, publishes raw ideas in Tiktok videos, first reaches tens of thousands, then writes a snippet with the title "10/10" and his follower numbers explode. Within a short time, the video received almost 90k likes and now has over a million views. The resulting hashtag #sieisteine10 currently has 10 million views. Welcome to the now of JONA's story.
